The PMI Advanced Frazier Permeability Tester measures the resistance of fabrics (woven, knitted, and non‑woven textile materials) to the passage of air. The instrument provides fast and accurate measurement of gas permeability in solid, cylindrical, and sheet samples. Featuring non-destructive testing and rapid results, the instrument is suitable for both research and development (R&D) and quality control applications.  PMI’s Average Fiber Diameter Analyzer (AFA) provides a simple, fast, and reliable technique for measuring average fiber diameter—an analysis not easily achieved using static nitrogen adsorption (BET) methods. The AFA utilizes flow permeametry combined with a sophisticated self‑adjusting viscous flow controller, enabling analysis of a wide range of powders and other materials, including those with surface areas of only a few square meters per gram.
